Don't be fooled

There she is, our sweet little angel....haha! Ayla has a new nickname...fussy fussernator. : ) Actually, during the day she's been pretty good. She's had some great awake time, nurses pretty well, and sleeps pretty well too. Then Midnight strikes - where she likes to eat but not go to sleep - but not stay awake either. It's this nice serenade of crying, screaming, grunting and straining on and off for 6 hours. : )

Monday we took a trip to a place called Happy Bambino - pretty cool place. We also weighed her there and she weighed in at a new record... 7 lbs 9 oz! She basically gained 9 oz in the last 5 days, which is double the pace doctors like (1 oz per day). Maybe she grows a lot from midnight to 6 then? : )

After the store we went down to a park by Lake Monona and walked along it for about a half hour - which was really nice. I have today and tomorrow (wednesday) off. Wednesday Ayla will be meeting a few more relatives at a little family cookout. Hopefully it won't be raining!
