Applause!

Yesterday Ayla was 8 months old! It has been a week of milestones for her. She has learned how to clap...and loves it! She will just sit there and clap and smile so big. She also has begun the seperation anxiety phase of babydome. We used to lay her down for bed and walk out of the room, and now if you do that she screams. Sometimes she will scream and cry if you walk out of the room at all during the day too. It makes it a bit tricky if you have to go to the bathroom!

And now here's the big one....let me put on my proud parent grin....she started crawling! Yup, Ayla is officially mobile! I guess it's probably true of every baby, but we really are astounded over and over by how quickly she learns things. It's like she can't figure things out forever, but once she does, look out!

We are hoping you are all surviving the snow(if you live around here.) We both called in to work on Wednesday and had a family day in the snow. That's what the picture is from-Daddy and Ayla "chillin" together. When the snow was all over, we couldn't even get our front door open! The other picture is of Ayla standing on the couch looking out at the snow.

Ayla is such a joy these days and makes us laugh and smile so much. Happy shoveling!
