Grandma time, bath time and Brewer time!

Howdy!

Saturday has been a good day. : ) It started with a full, yes FULL night of sleep Friday night for el me-o and Ruth. Grandma Sue and Grandpa Dave came over Friday evening and Grandma stayed over night. She slept downstairs with Ayla and even fed her twice (breastmilk in a bottle - not on any local restaurant menu's mind you). So that meant Ruth and I got about 7-8 hours of sleep...in a row. : ) So, good start. In the morning after Grandma went home for some rest of her own, the 3 of us took a little drive out in the country of Sun Prairie for a bit. Then we stopped by Sentry for a couple donuts and coffee for Ruth. As if that wasn't a good enough day...

....Grandma Pam and Grandpa Joe came by. Ruth and her dad did their traditional trip to Monona to buy fireworks while Grandma Pam and Ayla had some snuggle time and hung out with me. THEN, Grandma Pam cleaned the bathroom for us....yes....cleaned...the....bathroom.

Does Ayla have some sweet Grandma's or what?! Sainthood? Thank goodness they don't charge us anything eh? : )

So after that fun Ayla caught a bit of her first Brewer game....on tv...with dad and as I type the Brewers are currently CRUSHING the Cubs...yes! 13-4 in the top of the 9th. But in the middle of that instead of a 7th inning stretch we had a 7th inning bath for Ayla, which she took surprisingly well. Attached is a picture of her nice and clean and fluffy taken soon afterward.

As we head into the evening Ayla is taking a snooze and we're gonna eat soon and see how the rest of the evening plays out. I know tonight won't be quite as restful but we are at least in a little better shape going into it!
