Spring Break 2021
I’m not sure how I managed to completely skip over the fact that we went to Florida for Spring Break! We had planned to go last year but were unable to because of COVID. Thankfully this year we were able to make it happen! We wanted to make sure we took a trip just the four of us before Baby G arrives.

We stayed in Redington Beach, about a half hour outside Tampa. We arrived by noonish on Sunday, March 21. We stayed in an Air B&B across the street from the beach.
When we arrived it was actually kind of cold, too cold and windy to swim. We walked on the beach, though, enjoying the sand and clear water. On Monday we drove to the the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter the dolphin. That was very cool place, it was so neat to see the rescued animals!
Tuesday morning we walked up to a little boutique/cafe for coffee and breakfast. We ate outside in a garden (which was pretty epic seeing that we were coming from March in Wisconsin.) Dogs we’re allowed in the outdoor dining area, so of course we loved the place!
Tuesday and Wednesday we did our best to get to the beach and into the water. Jake, Ayla, and I managed to get ridiculously sun burned. We did a lot of walking on the beach, picking up shells. Zeke enjoyed swimming in the pool back at the Air B&B and playing at the park next door. Wednesday evening we walked to a pizza place- Coastal Pizza Kitchen-about a mile down the road and had an amazing dinner.
Thursday we tried to kill some time in Tampa before having to head to the airport. Tampa was so hot and we were dressed to head back to Wisconsin, so we headed back to the airport pretty early and had to kill time all day. We boarded around 7pm, landed in Milwaukee some hours later and were finally home at 11pm!
