Milestones

In 10 days piper will be 6 months old! I remember thinking of doing a "zeke" post when he was turning 5 months. All he got was a throw away line in a different blog I guess. So, let's get to 6 months. Next week he has his 6 month check up so we'll have his "stats" that we actually don't really care about because our kids have never been "stars" of the size race.

Otherwise Zeke is continuing to be the sweetest, smiling, talkative little guy. He's getting a bit more mobile - raising up more on his hands - and still really likes being on his belly. The things is, he's a pretty tough guy to we realized. He and Ayla have both been fighting colds for like 2 STINKING MONTHS but today he woke up with a "goopy" eye. So we got him in for a dr appt today and found out he has a major ear infection along WITH pink eye. Yay - first one for both! Those are fun milestones. But, Ruth and I didn't think he was necessarily any fussier than usually. Ayla was always screaming bloody murder. Of course that could very well happen tonight but oh well. On and on we go. The kids have both been troopers so far and hopefully mom and dad can do our part and hold sanity through the winter! The fall has been beautiful though. And we'll have a "halloween update" next.
