15 Months!
What can I say to capture what Otto is like at 15 months? He’s busy. So much busier than I remember the other two being. He never stops. He started walking somewhere between 13&14 months and hasn’t stopped moving since. He likes to climb. He figured out pretty quickly how to climb onto the couch. Then he figured out how to climb up in the fridge. And if you remove him from a place he should not be, he lets you know how unhappy he is about it. He is by far our most physically motivated, opinionated child. And we are tired!!

He got a cold at the beginning of September and pretty much has been sick ever since. With short breaks in between where he seems to feel fine but his nose still runs like crazy. I think literally he’s had a drippy nose for two months. Sigh. He just cut his first molar and drools like a faucet, so he must be getting more!
He loves when Ayla plays the ukulele for him! He has started “reading” books to himself. He will get a book and sit down and point at pictures in it and turn pages and babble. His babbling takes on a certain specific tone when he does it so you can tell that he is even when you aren’t looking at him.
He waves bye and says “bye.”
He holds anything rectangular the the back of his head and walks around and says “hi” like he’s talking on a phone.
He signs eat and says “nana.” That is his work for food, eat, hungry… and he says it constantly, even while he’s eating and when he’s not hungry.
He signs more and just started signing please (with two hands- it’s so cute!!)
He is always taking remotes.
Words:
-“ba” for ball
-“boo” for boom. A boom is a tower.
-Mama, Dada, Bubba (Zeke), LA! (Ayla)
Babbles:
-“eldee” or “uldee”
-lots of “diggles”
