4 months!
4 months finds Otto with a lot to say. He is still doing his sweet, quiet talk to your face like he’s telling you how much he loves you. He does this a lot for Zeke and ESPECIALLY for Ayla who he ADORES.

Also, don’t want to forget about these two!! We randomly decided to go to the fire truck parade in downtown Sun Prairie- something we haven’t done in years but used to do annually. It was a short, sweet family outing followed up by popcorn and a Christmas movie!
He also seems to have a complaining voice that he uses to inform you he isn’t happy. It involves him saying “RARRR” quite a bit. He is also shrieking a lot (in joy) and also his hardest crying has taken on a new “scream-y” quality.
Otto intentionally reaches out and grabs things when they are held in front of his face. He puts everything in his mouth, including his fingers and thumb (I’m still hoping he’ll be a thumb sucker.) He is so drooly in the last few days as well.
We bought him a highchair and he sits at the dinner table with us sometimes. He holds his head up more independently when you hold his torso. He is still swaddled at night and not showing much interest in rolling over anytime soon.
We aren’t getting anywhere with naps currently unless you plan to hold him and rock him the whole time. I’m feeling frustrated about that. Nights are unpredictable- some bad, some ok, once in a while a pretty good one sneaks in there.
He is still so so smiley. He smiles in such a way that his whole body scrunches up with delight. He is starting to do little giggles too!
He finally lost all of his cradle cap and most of his newborn hair along with it. We all agree he looks so cute without the yellow scales all over his head. His new hair is growing in lighter than I expected. I’m curious to see if he’ll be as bling as Ayla and Zeke.
