Zeke is Golden

Ever since Zeke was little, he has loved things that are gold. I’m not sure where it started, maybe on Max and Ruby when they go on a treasure hunt? Not sure, but to this day he has multiple collections of things that are golden. Coins, trinkets, key chains, rocks... when he was little he pronounced it “gooohhlden.” Things weren’t gold, they were golden. 

Yesterday Zeke turned 11 on May 11th- his Golden Birthday. In honor of that and his love of all thinks golden, we celebrated in gold!  Ayla and Jake helped me wrap and decorate in all things golden. His cupcakes were golden apples from Minecraft.

We had dinner at Taco Johns and the.headed to Reptile Rapture to look at the animals. When we got home the cousins (Alé and Enrique)  and Aunt Beth came over for cupcakes and presents. 

 

Hard to believe my Golden Boy is 11!!

(This last one isn’t anything golden. He wanted to start his day off with a Tiger Tail donut form Pick-N-Save!)
