Thanksgiving in WV

For Thanksgiving 2020, Josh and Mandy and the kids were planning to come up to Madison. The week before, however, the local regulations changed and prohibited indoor gatherings. So last minute we all decided to head down to West Virginia. It had been maybe three years since all of the Germanns had been together so we really wanted to make it work. 

We had so much fun all being together again! We drove down (10 hours-ugh!) on Wednesday, celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday and went hiking at a Gorge on Friday, followed by the most delicious BBQ at a restaurant called the Pink Pig. Then the long trek home again on Saturday. It was short and sweet; but so much fun!
