Up North

It seems to have become our tradition to head up north to the cabin in June right after school gets out. I’m not sure how many years in a row this will be. We headed up on Sunday, June 21 and stayed a full week. We celebrated Jake’s 40th birthday while we were there. For lack of a dog sitter we ended up bringing Lady and Rosie which made for a cramped and furry car ride both ways! But all in all it was the usual beautiful time, filled with fishing and boating and sunset watching, camp fires, naps, reading, hummingbird watching, and junk food. This time we caught a ton of toads and turtles too!
