Flat Stanley

Over the summer (2018) we sort of “tricked” Zeke into trying out for a play with the Sun Prairie Civic Theater. Ayla was going to try out for it and we enlisted her help. She asked Zeke to help her memorize the song for auditions (and therefore he inadvertently also learned it.) When it can time for auditions Jake asked Zeke to come along to take Ayla. When they got to the “barn” where auditions were held, Jake broke it to Zeke that he must also trying out. When Zeke refused, Jake offered him a $10 trip to Target. Ya do what ya can.

Both kids were offered parts in the ensemble cast but Ayla decided not to do it because she was already involved in a lot of other activities. Zeke ended up have a really great experience with it. The performances were the weekend of September 14th. We were not allowed to take pictures during the performance unfortunately.

Zeke was hilarious and a joy to watch. He is so animated and always has a big grin on his face! And man does he have some dance moves!
