Christmas Traditions

Since we don't have a fireplace, every year we make it easy on Santa and leave cookies and milk out in the shed for him. That way he can land in the yard, no trying to navigate our tiny, steep rooftop. 

Jake and the kids set up a table with a lantern on it. Jake even hung a string of Christmas lights out in the shed. Often the kids write a note and leave it out there for Santa.  They also make sure to leave carrots and apples for the reindeer.

Santa leaves one present for each kid out on that table and first thing Christmas morning we throw on our boots and coats over our Jammie's and head out to see what Santa left.

Each Christmas Eve I take a picture of Jake and the kids before they head out to set up everything for Santa.
