2!!!
Otto is 2! He is changing so much so fast!

I have a list of things he says and does but some of it has already changed! I am enjoying this age so much. He is so fun and enthusiastic and sweet and funny and BUSY from the moment he wakes up in the morning!
-Otto’s favorite book is Go Dog Go. He calls it “Go Puppy.”
-His favorite song is “Buddy Holly” by Weezer (who the older four of us went to see earlier this summer.) He regularly says “Awant Buhlly Holly. On.” He also asked me today to listen to “Mama Mia” which Ayla has been listening to regularly lately.
-He loves boats. Specifically because of Jake’s boat (which Jake has since sold.) He liked to sit in the boat and now points to where the boat was and says “bubye boat.”
-“Googoo Laylee” is Good girl, Lady
-“Dump dot”- dump truck. I think he knows he says it wrong but just likes to say it that way. I don’t correct him. It’s too cute.
-“Bee coom”- vacuum. He likes all the vacuums but is obsessed with the “big” vacuum which we keep in the basement. He likes to take the attachments off and pretend he’s plugging and unplugging it.
-“Two fye two” - how he counted up until pretty much yesterday. Yesterday he stared saying “wahn two fee.”
-“Bite deah”- right there (he started saying that correctly a couple days ago.) He also still say “neah” when he is directing you to put something “there.”
-“Boon”- spoon
-“Boom”- broom (still loves them!)
-“Ee Beem”- air plane
-“Da guy”- in the sky (two hands pointing straight up!)
-“Wish”- fish
-“Hehbee” - Heavy. He refers to giraffes as “hehbees” but also bigs trucks sometimes as well.
-“Cado Cado” - avocado
-“Bike-a” - bike. He gets excited whenever he sees one. “Oh! Bike-a!”
-“Cow” - car. (“Mama cow” “Daddy cow”)
-He calls Zeke either Bubba or Kiki.
-He often pronounced Ayla as “Ee-luh.”
-“Wing” - swing
-“Man-oh” - piano
-Jake often call him “Big Ott” to which Otto responds “dis hot” (complete with his little hand movement that means hot.)
-“Cole” - cold. He often asks if a food is hot (with hand movement.) If you say no he’ll say “Yeah yeah. Cole.” He understands the opposites(hot and cold) but not that there is anything in between!
-“Ucky poop” or “Big Ucky poop” - self explanatory, haha
-“Nee nee” - what he calls his boy parts
-“Do eet” - do it, like “I want to do it.”
-“Ah wahn…” - I want… This precedes almost everything he says right now. “Ah wahn pahk”- I want park.
-He loves seeing buses and is fascinated with vehicles in general. When he sees a bus he exclaims “Bus! A bus bite deah.”
-“Yeah yeah…” - He uses this to tie two ideas together. “Bus! Yeah yeah. Wooooom!(the sound a bus makes. Accompanied by a fast hand motion.)
-“Cuh Lee” - color or to color or to draw. “Cuh Lee bus” means draw a bus. He might also say “cuhlee” if he’s holding things of many colors.
-“Washa wash shaaaaah!”- to wash; hands, dishes etc. He says it when he’s referring to washing but is also being silly.
-“Moh By” - his special and favorite pacifier. The blue one with the bear on it. They are all the same kind of pacifier but for some reason that one is his favorite.
-“It Tew!”- I think it’s like I’ll miss you or I love you. He says it after saying bye to someone. “Bye Mana! It Teeew!”
-“Dosh” and “Minnie”-Josh and Mandy. They came up for a visit in July and immediately became Otto’s favorite people. He talks about them often.
-“Kipper” - camper
-“Bewwies” - the cutest pronunciation of “berries” that has ever been spoken
-“Shoppin’” - Otto and I go to woodmans to grocery shop. We both love it. He likes to look for “the beep beep” while we are there.
-“Baleen” - The cutest pronunciation of “melon” that has ever been spoken.
-Otto liked to help with feeding the dogs. He scoops the kibble into each bowl and always looks up at me and asks, “more?” Then he delivers each bowl to its spot. Sometimes he’ll set the bowl down that he is carrying so that he can point at each bowl and specify which is for which dog-“Laylee” and “Lou.”
…And that’s the list! Thanks to Ayla for helping me compile it.
