Up North, The Best Place To Be

For years we have been blessed with the generosity of a family friend. The Walters regularly let us use their beautiful cottage and it has become what we consider to be Heaven on Earth. We snuck away for a long weekend from January 22-25. It was wonderful. We spent a ton of time outside, Jake and the kids snowshoed, Jake built a Bon fire, we sat by the fire place inside, we watched movies and just were together as a family. One of my favorite parts is walking out on the frozen Sailor Creek Flowage. There is nothing like the quiet and the peace you find out there.
