walking!!

Ayla is officially walking. She has been here and there, but yesterday she just made up her mind that this is how she wants to get around now. She changed so much while we were gone. She communicates so well now. She says "ahdone" when she's finished eating, "nighnigh" when she's tired, signs "more" when she wants something and points at whatever it is she wants.
I still want to post pictures and more details about our trip, we are a bit behind. We just finally conquered the laundry from the trip and that was just the first step. We had such an incredible time. Seattle is such a cool city and the other parts of Washington are so beautiful. Biking was great, of course I love biking anyhow, the people were great, the food was great. It was very satisfying to be in a group of people who understand life with Crohn's Disease and getting to talk to others with the disease, and also knowing that we were raising money and awareness was also satisfying.
In Seattle, Jake and I happily discovered that we still rather like each other...a good thing. We walked all over the place, went to the space needle, the Seattle aquarium, Pike's Place Market, ate clams, mussels, oysters...
But for now, enjoy these pictures of our walking little girl doing one of her more favored things...knocking down a tower ("tow") of blocks ("BOOM!")
